The Italian marque Piaggio who now owns the Vespa brand has relaunched the brand in the Indian market with their top officials having approved a business plan at the plant with new facilities which have an annual capacity of 150,000 units per annum. Piaggio will invest an amount of Euro 30 million in FY 2010-11 and expects to make a profit of Euro 70 million by 2015.
Their first model from the LML Stable would be a specially developed model for the Indian market, called as the LX125. Rs. 35000 (ex-showroom_ Delhi is the price at which you can book and carry the scooters -NV SPL and Select II home. LML which introduced the scooters in Delhi will gradually get into Punjab, Haryana, Jammu & Kashmir and then to West Bengal, Assam and few others.

Hi Mr. Rakesh.. Since the LML Vespa is yet to be launched officially in the Indian Market, the scooter is one helluva good lookin scooter.. Since its from the Vespa brand, the official figures realeased are 45+ kmpl in the city and around 50-52 on highways…
