NISSAN MICRA DIESEL – BOOKINGS STARTED

Filed under: Uncategorized — EVERISE MOTORS @ 9:09 am

According to Kiminobu Tokuyama, the Managing Director & CEO, Nissan Motor India, the company hopes that the diesel version of Nissan Micra would bring the laurels to the company. The success rate of the petrol version of Nissan Micra has boosted the image of the brand and the confidence of the customers.  Nissan Micra is based on the Versatile ‘V’ platform and is manufactured at Nissan’s Oragadam (Chennai) plant. The company has sold around 4500 units of Micra ever since the sales began on July 15, 2010.

Nissan Micra diesel has a three cylinder 1.5 L CDRI engine that produces power of around 65 bhp and torque of 150-160 Nm. The new diesel motor greatly improves the car’s drivability with a fuel efficiency figure of 18.06 kmpl approved by ARAI. This engine being the same as the Nissan’s Logan  has proved its mettle there too but given the fact that Micra is a hatchback and lot lighter than Logan, we can expect better performance with the same power train.

  1. Very good post. Nissan Micra has got decent looks with neat finish and great pick up. Sharing my personal experience – Most of the time i find people giving a definite glare at my car.
