MARUTI DZIRE TO BE CUT SHORT TO UNDER 4 METRES IN LENGTH.
The 2011 next generation Swift Dzire which currently is based on the all-the new Suzuki Swift platform is now to be launched in a new avatar wherein the length of the Car would be cut short to under 4 metres in length, according to sources in Maruti. The new move from Maruti would help the Dzire to gain excise beneFits of upto 10 percent, instead of 22 percent which is currently applicable for larger cars which are more than 4 metres in length. The existing dzire which is currently plying on the Indian roads is 4160mm in length.
