Toyota receives 1,000 bookings for Etios Liva immediately within a span of 2 days when the car was launched at an event organized by Toyota at The Grand Hotel, Nelson Mandela road, Vasant Kunj in New Delhi at 11:00 am on Wednesday. Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) has already got 1,000 unit bookings for its recently launched hatchback THE ETIOS LIVA in the country.
Price : Toyota has priced the Liva very competitively. There are 5 variants of the LIVA. The base model which is termed as J is priced at a very competitive price tag of Rs 3.99 lakhs. The next variant G costs Rs 4.59 lakhs, G (Special) costs Rs 5.05 lakhs, V is available for Rs 5.49 lakhs, while the top end VX version is available for Rs 5.99 lakhs. All these prices are ex-show room, Delhi.
Engine : The 1.2 liter petrol engine produces 78.9 Bhp of peak power and a torque figure of 10.6 kgm. It is mated to a 5 speed manual gearbox from the Etios sedan. The ARAI claimed fuel efficiency figure on the Liva is 18.3 kmpl. A diesel variant is also on the cards by the end of this year or in early 2012. Toyota have started bookings for this car and the warranty offered by the company is 3 years or 1 lakh kms, whichever is earlier.
We have got more than 11,000 enquires for the Etios Liva in just one-and-a-half day of its launch. Around 1,000 units of Etios Liva are already booked,” said Sandeep Singh, deputy managing director (marketing), TKM. He added that the company aims to sell 20,000 units of the Liva and 40,000 units of Etios sedan this year. The company has already sold 20,000 units of Etios sedan in the country.
