Bajaj Auto – The Pune based two wheeler major today showcased its latest bike called the Discover 125 ST (Sports Tourer), in New Delhi. The looks of the motorcycle somewhat resembles to that of the Suzuki GS 150R, than the Discover itself, and at the rear strikes a resemblance to that of the Discover 135 with its full rear mudguard flap. The technical specifications of the bike are yet the same which is powered by a 125cc engine which features Bajaj’s propriety DTS-i technology and a four valve head and produces 12.8bhp of power. It also features a first in the commuter segment – A monoshock rear suspension and petal discs up front. The new Discover is basically a commuter bike with some of the sportiness thrown in to lure buyers although the Sports Tourer features a higher tail and silver center panel only to accentuate the design aspects of the bike. The Discover 125 ST will be sold alonside the current model range. The Discover 125 ST is priced at Rs 55,000, ex-showroom (estimated) and will reach the dealers across the country by the end of June.
